ON Semiconductor lowers Synaptics acquisition offer to $5.7B in cash: ON Semiconductor has revised its acquisition offer for Synaptics to an all-cash deal valued at approximately $5.7 billion, or $123 per share. This is down from the $7 billion all-stock deal announced in June. The revision comes after Synaptics received a competing bid.
