Accenture acquires UK customer intelligence firm Sagacity: Accenture has acquired Sagacity, a UK-based data and customer intelligence firm founded in 2005 and headquartered in London. Accenture said Sagacity's data assets and AI-enabled technology will strengthen its AI and data capabilities. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ON Semiconductor lowers Synaptics acquisition offer to $5.7B in cash: ON Semiconductor has revised its acquisition offer for Synaptics to an all-cash deal valued at approximately $5.7 billion, or $123 per share. This is down from the $7 billion all-stock deal announced in June. The revision comes after Synaptics received a competing bid.

World Labs • AMD

AMD to acquire AI startup World Labs for $8.2 billion in all-stock deal: Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has agreed to acquire World Labs, an artificial intelligence startup founded by Fei-Fei Li, for $8.2 billion in an all-stock deal. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year. Following the acquisition, Li will join AMD as executive vice president and chief scientist.

Hugging Face • OpenAI

OpenAI offered $100 million to Hugging Face before Nvidia acquisition: Before Nvidia agreed to acquire open-source platform Hugging Face for approximately $13 billion, OpenAI offered to invest around $100 million in the startup. The investment talks between OpenAI and Hugging Face ultimately fell apart. AMD and Salesforce also reportedly held talks with Hugging Face.
