Say It Four Times

An experiment on Gemini 2.5 Flash tested repeating a rule in system prompts 0 to 16 times, using 1,080 runs and six Python tasks. Compliance, checked with Python's tokenizer, was 0% when the rule was absent and improved with repetition, suggesting that repeating key instructions increases adherence.
